Re: z rims restored!!!!
I can pretty those up for you too! You should take the rear hub apart. And when you send the rims , just send the sprocket and I can media blast it too. I might have to charge alittle extra. Mags take longer and use more media sand to do.Like $30 plus shipping both ways. check these out that i did
spray bombed tuff
spray bombed after blasting
the red one ended up on this bike

Re: z rims restored!!!!
Media blast with plastic is the ticket. done z's and tuffs in the past and its the catz azz.
Careful not to set the airflow to high and strip more away from the rim more than you want.

They should be white all the way through. Take the inside of your rim and take a small piece out with a razor knife and if its white inside then blasting them would be awesome!!

Re: z rims restored!!!!
YEP, Gary does a great job on wheels. those are my blue Zs posted. I can tell you first hand. I will say this guys. please do take care of Gary for doing us all this favor. ask him if he needs any parts as well and throw him a bone for his work. you will be happy in the end trust me. those are befores and afters of my blue Z rims no doubt and I have the befores and afters as well. I give gary 2 thumbs up and he is very trust worthy if you have any doubt.

Re: z rims restored!!!!
I will do one better.here are pictures I took of my blue Z rims before and after Gary did them. they are the blue ones he has posted. heres the before and afters.
BEFORE
here are a cpl of them after one is outside and one shot is inside with flash
very impressive with out a doubt. take it from me guys. I know how it is to send someone you dont know your things. Gary is a very honest guy and takes time out to do this kind of work to help us and for the love of restoring our old bikes . anyone who needs this done please take your business to Gary. you will not be disappointed not too mention he is giving a hell of a price for his work.

I have not, but you probably could. It would just clean that area of the spokes too.
