I am new to this site but I like it.I have a LOTUS COBRA MX-TWO.It has the Mongoose-ish gusset and it is chrome with a lil surface rust here and there.There isn't any original parts on it I got the frame bare.I have Dyno forks.I put new bearings in the headtube and Mongoose cranks.I have black Mongoose bars with a purple odessy gooseneck,lime green skyway tuff two's and white tires.I enjoy the bike very much.The bike you have is really cooland I like it.I will submit a picture of mine sometime soon if anyone would care to see it.You did an awesome job with yours !

Sweet bike! I like the color scheme the chrome and blue is awesome together. I actually just picked up a MX-5 on Ebay and after seeing your bike can't wait for it to arrive and start working on it. Again sweet ride!!

that frame looks virtually identical to my Niitaka Am Tech XT. I bet its made by the same company. 
ABA Member 1979 raced La Mirada Regional Park and Azusa. 1979 Mongoose Motomag red first store bought bmx. Early JMC bought used at Azusa track had Blue frame, chrome Cook Bros. forks, chrome Redline fluted post, blue Suguni cranks last seen at garage sale in 1984.
