Re: 1995 Diamondback Viper

Thanks for the comment! It was hard finding the year because heads had it listed as 1989 diamondback Viper in the museum, bmxbuilder has one that he customized with anodized blue..pretty cool. I'll just add some NOS rims and a brake set and use it as a weekend trail rider.:D

Re: 1995 Diamondback Viper

The best things about these bikes is they still look like a classic old school bmx - before the big manufacturers went seriously off the rails with crazy looking frames and components. Plus they are cheap, strong, light and fun to ride. They will be an icon of the future. ;)

Re: 1995 Diamondback Viper

Angel your right on point with that statement, I always loved DB's it was my first bike, and to your point this Viper I have looks soo much like an 80's classic.

Re: 1995 Diamondback Viper

haha, i never cared for DB bikes, but i just picked this same bike up off of craig's list. yours is nicer thann the one i picked up. i almost didn't buy it, but said wtf, and now i got it. i gotta say it is a big roomy bike, rides good and tight and stops on a dime. great rider.  :)

Re: 1995 Diamondback Viper

Thanks trk2ajk! Yeh this was relly rusted when I got it..and still is to me in the hard to get to spots, I'll apply a little more WD-40 and elbow grease to it. And it rides like a dream with the crappy rims I have on it, I can't wait to I get new one then it off to the trails for some old school racing!:D

Re: 1995 Diamondback Viper

 15 year old boy stole my DB last night then had the nerve to ride it around the neighborhood were he stool it. It took ever ounce of me not to revert back to my old ways!! And he took my VIPER, seat post decals off I didn't have time to look and see if he scratched the frame.
