BUT set it up as a Dialed-in early Freestyle bike. I wanted a different style set-up than most of the old Torkers I see built... But also wanted the visual theme to stay true to the classic Torker brand.Searching and slowly collecting parts for this specific build for about 4 years now... It's definitely a unique combination of some of my favorite parts, and much of it was pretty hard to track down. The wheel lacing went beautifully (It's been a while since I did up a set) and the Drive train couldn't be smoother.... :)Thanks to Alvin Mullins for hooking me up with these super sweet tires.... And to Boxline69 for hooking me up with the gold brakes....  I owe both of you Bigtime! :)I'm glad to see this long awaited project finally together,
Took it for a spin and it rides like a dream.........

Re: 1981 Torker MX

Holy man, can this thing shine any brighter???  Beautiful bike here Matt.  I'm not a huge Torker fan but I sure like this one.  As for the brown cables, they're awesome!  I love brown cables!  I used them on my S3 because the color is so cool.  Very nice and congradulations on a stellar build!  :)

My Father once spoke to me and said "The way you look at your bike is the way I see My children, I look past the imperfections and rough surfaces to the beauty of the finished product."
