Re: 1996 Dirtwerx Pro

thanks Elf!  I waited to submit it until the BOTY was open on os-bmx so i could submit it into the mid school section.  I would still love to find some original chrome forks, but....  The bike rides really nice as built!

Re: 1996 Dirtwerx Pro

Yeah I had to buy a frame and fork in the 90s to get the forks as they were not available seperate, so I sold the frame and boom I had a set of DW forks!

Re: 1996 Dirtwerx Pro

I cant believe nobody has commented on the pics!!! Dude, wtf??? I feel building these bikes is like performing works of art. But when you add incredible background, depth to field and just plain awesome work with your photos, it becomes something else entirely. Great work on the bike, and fabulous work on the photography.cool

Re: 1996 Dirtwerx Pro

Thank you very much for noticing!  It took three separate days of driving around central Oregon getting just the right shots.  The wife and kids got into finding just the right spot and set up.  I stepped in a big pile of dog crap while setting up for the one on the leaves.  There are photos from 3 or 4 more spots that are not shown.

LOL! Friggen dogs!!! I would love to see the other ones! Its also great your family participated with you on this project! Most wives and kids find this stuff boring. Mine like it somewhat, but after an hour or two, their done with it.
