Re: 2000 GT Pro Performer
Frames are different between the two models, pros have longer top tube and different position for the 990 mounts, also more subtle difference's as well.. The pro performer was alwasys more of a radical bike. I have the pro performer like this one, heavy as all get out but nothing more bullet proof out there for sure.
Get on your bike and ride..!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: 2000 GT Pro Performer
Nice Performer with some nice touches!!!
Profiles were the best choice for it....original looks plus that they are light cranks
Pro Performer & Performer shared the EXACT same frames for 1999 & 2000.
Only the parts did change (Pacman forks etc)
!Midschool TANK freak!
GT parts wanted: # GT Profile 3pc cranks in 175mm, Mint // # One GT Fly-Cutter 45t USA-Made sprocket, NOS or Mint

That wasn't a "2000 GT Tour in red" to begin with, that movie came out in 1997, that was a Red 1997 GT Interceptor or Mach One, with Spin Mags, a Chrome GT Overdrive Sprocket from about 1995, & I'm unsure of other parts on the bike...& the expert rider who did all the tricks right before the bike got stolen, was Eddie Fiola, I know that because he does this unique thing where he stalls in a way where he's standing with one foot on one of the back pegs & then he uses his free arm & leg & all of his body that he can to help him build up enough Inertia to swing the bike around & land back on it regularly.
watch this video of him, he does all the stuff he did in the intro to the movie Rad
