Re: 1989 GT Interceptor
One of my favorite Years for the GT Racing graphics. Nice adaptation of the late 80's Pro Series design.. but a tad more modern. I also love that Sporcket on there.. I thought they reserves those for the Team Models... either way.. it looks awesome!

Same here for my 89 when I was 13. Bought mine from Stylin BMX out of BMX Plus. Still have my bike today along with the receipt and Mfg book that came with it. Working on the restore as we speak. Just got the new school flights this week. Restoring it to the bike I always dreamed of but couldn't afford.

Re: 1989 GT Interceptor
I have a chrome interceptor with a different sprocket and the interceptor decal is on the top tube. The serial number makes it an 88. Does this sound correct GT pro's out there?

Re: 1989 GT Interceptor
A.J. Did your "89" have the interceptor on the downtube as well?

does yours have the big wings on the bottom tube and interceptor on the top tube near the head tube?

Re: 1989 GT Interceptor
no. Mine has a yellow GT over blue scribble lines on the down tube and Yellow GT over interceptor that runs the entire lengthh of the top tube, and also has blue scribbles on the decal.
