1999 Schwinn 36-24-36
Admin Note: Does anyone have info on this to help out?
Schwinn Andrew Farris Signature Frame/Fork 36.24.36
Forgot the exact year of this frame. Got this as a new Frame/Fork/Stem combo. KHE Albert Freecoaster laced to Primo Hula hoop rim (barley ridden), Front Peregrine 48 HP wheel, Hoffman Lowdrag 1 bars, quick release seat post clamp, H*B Day Smith Pegs on the front, Mosh Pegs on the rear, 1 pc cranks, sealed Tioga bottom bracket, Tech 77 leavers, and a Gyro XL. This bike has seen some light use. Decal on one side of down tube is slightly damaged from squeakers.

I'll give you some props for this one. Cool color combination and very unique frame design. Loved the Schwinn team back in the day.

It is not a 1997 model...it is a 1999. Most people never knew there was a "36-24-36" flatland frame. It became better known when it was renamed the "Azreal" for the next 2 years after. Andrew Faris was a fruit loop but I enjoyed watching him. Always hated his Props and ESPN interviews though!
Sweet frame. Seriously!

Re: 1999 Schwinn 36-24-36
The frame is a 1999 Schwinn Andrew Faris 36/24/36 frame. It is made for flatland and also is the same frame as a Schwinn Powerflow frame but is just painted Hot Pink for Andrew Farris and the Power Flow version is black for Sean Peters, who were both Schwinn riders on the flatland team. The 36/24/36 and Powerflow were both made in 1999 so it was just a color preference which one you bought. It was made in the USA and is 100% chromoly and then was changed to the Schwinn Azreal for 2000 and 2001. The Azreal was aluminum and featured a different rear end from the Schwinn Pro Stock racing bike and even had the famous Schwinn ram air seat stays. The 36/24/36 was only sold as a frame and had a MSRP price of $799.99 but Schwinn dealers sold it for much less.I used to work at a Schwinn bike shop so thats how I know all of that info and if you have any Schwinn question just let me know.
It is definitly a great frame and your bike looks very cool by the way.

Re: 1999 Schwinn 36-24-36
yea, i know Andrew was in the BACO video all the other scwinn guys. and if i'm not mistaken, they offically called that shade of pink "PEPTO"...big surprise right?
Heres my profound, life changing statement.
Lifes a bitch..PASS ME A BEER.
They're reacting and that's wonderful. It's better than them sitting there doing nothing. I say make them react - do whatever's in your power to move the audience, and if that's where it is, and there where it is with America, sex and violence, then I say project it.

I rode an Azrael for a while. It was a badass flatland frame.
