1980 Cook Bros. Racing

BMX has been sold

This is my pride and joy! Its a 1980 Cook Bros frame & forks with the following parts:

GT un-knurled pro bars, oury black grips, NOS tuff neck stem, tuff neck seat clamp, late 1970's NOS campy cranks, NOS imitation kashi black aero seat, blue MKS BM-7 pedals, NOS 7x's with bullseye hubs, S/S spokes, & NOS Comp III's (175 front & 150 rear) .

Hopefully, one day i'll have a set of OG cook bars and a Cook racing slant stem too.

Re: 1980 Cook Bros. Racing

Awsome bike! I always wanted a Cooks! Well done! Love that your running campys! Maybe one day you'll get the bars and the layback post but then you'll begin a new quest for the seat clamp, stem and hubs! Good luck on that! I like it the way it is!big_smile

Re: 1980 Cook Bros. Racing

Thanks for the comments fella's.......i need to update the pics b/c they're too dark.

The chrome on the Cook is still OG and its not too bad, only the rear dropouts need attention but for now it'll be ok.

Locating all the parts is a huge quest but thats half the fun apart from spending too much cash on it....DOH!!

i really enjoy bringing back to life this unique piece of American iron so hopefully i'll do it justice.  cool

cheers,

pat
