Here is my all for $100 score. 83 gt 24 ,new school haro tr2.3 and 83 db viper. The guy tossed in a set of 3 spoke gt mags also. The gt had mx900's,dc hinged clamp, pro neck stem, araya 7x 24",gt pro bars,gt straight post. It was trashed untill I restored it. I used the bars, clamp and arayas after polishing them up.

Re: BMX Museum Awards 2008

Here is mine for best score under $100.00. I found this stash in Bristow Oklahoma. My LBS guy had bought some OS road bike stuff and told me the fella had a bunch of those little plastic and metal wheels I like. Gave me two phone numbers and directions. I took off and found the mother load. I took Tommy and a truck. We dug through two huge piles of bike junk. Looked at what we had found then figured out what kind of cash we had on us. We knew we couldn't buy all of it but we were going to walk away with something. The old man looked at our pile and said "hows $75.00 sound?". I almost had a heart attack. We loaded up and headed home. When we got back Tommy picked what he wanted and took it home to the joy of his wife. I then called somwe of the local fellas and shard the wealth also. Some highlight!

Re: BMX Museum Awards 2008

Mother of God!!!  You know I was thinking, this is supposed to be an annual thing, but since this will be the 1st awards year, it should encompass all years ITD (inception to date) of the Museum (2005-ish?).  I've only been an active member here for about 3 mos, so stuff beyond that is foreign to me.

PLEASE GET YOUR INPUTS INTO ME BY COB TODAY!!!!  I AM GOING TO COMPILE AND SEND THE PM TO THE MODS FOR APPROVAL!!!  big_smile

Most likely to "fib" about a recent "score?"

I mean, I know we all find a thrown out Hutch or Haro Master once a week too....

Re: BMX Museum Awards 2008

Guys  -- let' take it back to Furious original post and intent: museum personality awards.  While the scores under $100 are great they are not in line with the intent of Furious' thread.

Cool?
