Re: 2000 Specialized Fatboy

Can you post some more pics -especially of that fork and those handlebars.
Did it come with those cranks too?

Stuff I want: 2000 24" DB Reactor Team frame ,  Voxom and Enigma stuff. Alliant / Radix stem and stuff.  JW and Stiffys stuff.  Cool late mid-school cruiser parts.

Re: 2000 Specialized Fatboy

I never cared for the Fatboy, but that is a nice bike.  Congrats!

Re: 2000 Specialized Fatboy

The bars are the only parts that did not come with it. It had powerlite bars with bends in the grip area so I swapped them for some Elf six piece I had laying around in the basement.  I'll get some more pics up as soon as I can.

Re: 2000 Specialized Fatboy

FYI -those powerlite 'Powerbend' bars are supposed to be that way -I have two sets of them.
Tell my you didn't throw them out!?  The powerlite's will be way lighter than the elf -and better for this race bike.

Re: 2000 Specialized Fatboy

I wasn't a big fan of the bends in them. I found them to be uncomfortable. Did not throw them out though, they ended up on a friend's bike.

Re: 2000 Specialized Fatboy

I like the fatboy bikes for some reason too, probably just because they are different and they generally do not cost that much to pick up either even though the quality is there. I've got 3 (1 is done &2 waiting to be built up). I also had and one more of them and I built it up for my son's buddy. Yours is nicely put together. Here's one that my kids' friends ride when they come over.
