1982 Hutch Pro Racer

1982 Hutch Pro Racer
1982 Hutch Pro Racer
Ridden by Anna, 7th fastest 100m sprinter from Poland!! Wonder how quick she could race on a bmx then..... )
After building this to my spec, i decided to draw it to a highly detailed 1:5 scale on A3. I am very pleased with how this drawing looks.
Currently has ODI toadstool grips, chrome CW bars, Weinmann brakeset (works very well!), Tuff Neck 45T chainring set, chrome Haro Heffer wheels with odyssey hubs for left hand chainring set up, Odyssey barefoot skin tyres, 170mm chrome non-branded 1pc crank from AlansBMX (this is good because the pedals scraped on the floor when cornering with the original 180mm crank!), non-branded chrome headset, chrome GT layback post & Elina Flyte tech seat, scrathced from numerous downhill crashes when i was abusing my Kuwahara... Good Times! I have been using the Hutch myself to do silly not-to-daring jumps and 180s out of quarries in Cannock Chase. Anna uses it to zoom to work and the local library!
September 2010 - Now have a black trick top seat. The frame is chipped, layback post is rusted and i have new chromed CW bars to re-fit.
August 2011 - Still riding, never hiding!!

Re: 1982 Hutch Pro Racer
Thanks guys, Frame & Forks and stem were candy blue when i got then last april. I resprayed the blue stem and sprayed the tuff-neck spider with Plastikote candy blue. The super stopping weinmann brakes were already blue too. Even Anna has the blues since moving to England.... it has been cold, damp and rainy here in England since August! Blue bike, blue Anna, blue christmas!

More like Anna looks outstanding on the Hutch.
Would like lots of bikes but the SE Hauler is one that has a lot of sentimental value to me. Anyone got one?

Very cool to see the bike gets used often. As beautiful as the Hutch is, its best appreciated when ridden. Very cool drawing of it too!
