1988 Haro FSX

Decent original survivor.  Grips and brake pads are period updates.  Rear inner tube is new.  Fork pegs removed in 1990.

I bought this bike as a backup for a half pipe a friend built in a barn in 1990.  I still have the shop receipt.I painted the wheels and sprocket fluorescent orange to make it different at that time.  The grips were changed to mushrooms.  Also removed the fork pegs for ramp.  Pegs were lost.After 1990 it hung in storage 32 years, superseded by other rides.In 2023 I took it off the hook, took some pictures and didn't like the orange anymore.  I dismantled it and cleaned it with soap and water.  Cleaned up OK.  Still a little orange paint in the tight spots.Original survivor except for four items:  Grips replaced from survivor 86 Sport.  Brake pads from survivor 86 Sport.  New rear inner tube.  No pegs.Was shown at New England show in August 2023 in Survivor category.  Not perfect and no winner but still a rad example of the colorway!
