man...i remember those things. between races all the dads would have crazy races around the track . one of the races was the side car race, another i recall was a relay of sorts where dads paired up in teams, each team would be given a pair of plaid pants, one guy would put the pants on, hop on the bike and ride to his team mate that was standing someplace down the track then he would take the pants off and the other guy would put em on and thrash to the finish line...lol...those were the days
