1985 Mongoose Expert

1985 Mongoose Expert. It has pro class wheels, pro class chain which I removed, chain guard which I also removed, pro class brakes. I also have the original seat post. I let my 9yr old daughter ride this. Talk about getting the boys..sheesh. Has Cheng shin tyres. Added the blue mx hinged seat post clamp (i am diggin the look). I also have the original pedals too. All I am missing are the pads...

Re: 1985 Mongoose Expert

That looks great!

My 9 year old daughter is racing a 2006 SG Junior and riding a 2006 Mongoose Replica (number 101 of 500).

She wants me to clean up and rebuild my 1983 Cali for her, but I am still searching for the original bars

I hope I can get my Cali to look half as good as your Expert does.

Re: 1985 Mongoose Expert

I've been keeping my eyes open for a Californian also, but I am just waiting for the one that is for me.  I couldn't be happer with this Expert though..I went through quite a bit for it, so having it comes with alot of satisfaction. BTW, replacing the grips with the Original repop grips soon too.  Also, I have a Diamondback Formula 1 I am working on..it's a rider only due to the dings, but it should be a looker still..should be up in a week or two.

Awesome expert!!! Like the blue. Put more pics of my 88 expert up. Working on an 85 in the basement know, just putting it together till I get the parts I need. All my bikes are riders, I like to enjoy them!!!

IT IS WHAT IT IS, and if it ain't, WELL THERE IT IS!!!!
