2022 BMXMuseum Calendar Buildoff

Here Are The Rules:
***********************************************************************

Starting August 1st

•  Each Member of the Museum can submit up to 4 Bikes into the Buildoff...As long as you are a BMXMuseum Member before August of 2021 you can participate...

•  The entry threads will close on September 12th 2021 at Midnight Completed Builds can be submitted any time after October 3rd 2021 when the completed thread opens...

The deadline to submit a complete will be October 18th 2021

We will do our best to get the voting threads open as soon as possible after the entry threads are closed starting around October 18th 2021

Once they are opened, there will be a 14 day window to vote...

Since this date may shift depending upon how quickly we get the voting threads live, I will adjust the dates accordingly...

Voting Threads Opened On October 18th & Will Remain Open Until 9:00PM (EST) On Halloween October 31st 2021

•  Final Pics, Use the very best pictures you can take as they will be used in the annual calendar if you finish in the Top 2 in your Class...Once you have entered your bike, you need to post a pic to the entry in the Final Submission thread once it's live...

Side Note:

If you’re a non-Pro Member & need Help with pics...send me a email of the pics with your Username...

hobbes1278@gmail.com

•  All bikes must be BMX...Restored, Polished, Spray bombed, Re-Chromed, NOS, Survivor, whatever you want to enter is fine...

•  Scooters are allowed in the Budget Build Class if anyone has one, but let me be very clear here that it's BMX style scooters...That is GT Zoot Scoots, CW Nopeds, Mongoose Miniscoots, that type of thing...No Razor scooters will be allowed or anything else that doesn't have BMX heritage if you catch my drift...If there are any Q&A on this, feel free to send a PM...

•  All members of the BMXMuseum will be able to vote as long as you registered before October 2021...You can vote for your own bike...You will vote for your favorite bike in each class(6 choices total)in the voting thread...Most votes gets first place, second most gets second place...If there are any ties the Staff will be the tie breaking votes...

•  Here are the links to the different classes...Please enter your bike in the correct place...Survivors/OG & Restored bikes will compete with each other in their respective class...

•. Vote Who Gets The Top 2 of Each Category 2 Be In The Calendar:

Explanation of Completed Bikes

We are looking for very nice, quality pictures...Please do Not submit fuzzy/shaky, blurry photos, etc...The better the photo, the higher the chances of getting votes will be...This isn't a contest of who built the best bike & leaned it against a lawn chair in their back yard & took a picture with their flip phone...Any year, Race, Freestyle, any size...Basically any bike that is allowed on the Museum is good to go as long as it has never been entered into a prior Buildoff...

Use This Thread 4 All Your Progress/Banter/Bragging/Comments

FAQ

Q:  Can I submit a bike that's already in the Museum?
A:  No you can’t…

Q:  Can I post a Bike from a previous Buildoff?
A:  No you can’t post a bike that has already been in a build off...This is hard to police but be honest please, but I'm also hoping everyone will report ones they've seen in buildoffs before just to keep it fair...

Q:  If my bike is almost completed already, does it need to go in the ”Budget Build” Class?
A:  No, if your bike is still in the build phase, you can & should enter it into one of the 6 build classes...
(OS/MS/NS/Freestyle/Cruiser/Budget Build)

About the only things you cannot enter are non-BMX bikes or something that's already been in a buildoff...If you can't decide what class to enter into, feel free to PM me & we can figure it out cool

If you already entered a bike in OS for example, it cannot be entered in the "Budget Build” Class as well...

Thanks!

Re: 2022 BMXMuseum Calendar Buildoff

I’m liking midschool going later as well by the way… 2009 is a pretty solid year to star NS IMO

Re: 2022 BMXMuseum Calendar Buildoff

This was superbly timed!

My Mutiny PMA arrived not last week but the one before, straight to the Powdercoaters & I'll be collecting it today! (Monday)
It'll be fun as I submitted a photo of the Frame totally Bare Raw & it's definitely not now!

I'm STILL waiting for the last couple parts for my WTP Build which is a bit of a piss take but not much I can do!
I actually have the Parts to build this one!! Yes, there's a small number of Parts I'd like to replace or upgrade(?) to the newest versions but it's not gunna impact the final build if I cant get them.
I was already extremely excited to get this Frame built up & ready to ride, now I get to show it off even more with a chance at getting in the Calendar!? F-Yeah! I'll jump on board!
