Re: Prices have skyrocketed

I wonder how the 2022 tax laws will affect prices.  When you exceed 600 bucks in goods and services transactions on paypal it will generate a 1099 tax form starting next year.  It was in the stimulus check package passed in March.

Re: Prices have skyrocketed

Either way goods will definitely go up or we will see a hell of a lot more money order/cash transactions and I'm sure they will try to regulate cash somehow too.

Wow…didn’t realize this change was coming.  I’ll definitely be dropping some big ticket stuff on eBay the rest of the year as I’m currently well below the current transaction limit.  Gonna shoot for 25k in sales in the 4th qtr.

This surely doesn't benefit prices (anchored vessels):

Re: Prices have skyrocketed

I think some of these guys in the "For Sale" section need to come back to reality.  400 for a chain, 500 for grips, 200-300  for grips that are trashed to shit, 8-900 for a seat  come on. this stuff wouldnt even get half that on ebay.  a couple of them are out of the country. no way i would even chance that for that kind of dough even with a secured credit card

This is nuts. But makes sense. Friday morning I went in to buy a new stihl ts700 demo saw and my guy said they didn't have any and couldn't even get any within the state. Had to order one and will have quite the wait. Idk if they're scarce everywhere right now but here, nada.

Re: Prices have skyrocketed

Who determines "reasonable prices"? Anyone can ask whatever they want for their property. FMV will  prevail. If you don't like their ask move along you punks. Who the hell are you to dictate the prices YOU think you should pay? Don't like it, buck up or shut you broke azz puke. Nobody owes you nothing, understand, Tard?

Re: Prices have skyrocketed

I hope the entire show goes to hell. I cant wait until million dollar collections crumble in the hands of the owners. But, I've always felt this way. No secret. I could understand if we were dealing with something other than BMX. Bikes were not designed to be what they have become in the hands of collectors. Go out and ride your shit. Scratch it up. Crash it. Break shit. Quit posing.

I can see crypto catching fire over this.

Time to start a LLC and take all the tax breaks a business gets, then only get taxed on profits.

It's very sneaky that there're on a hunt to ban out cash totally. What happens if cash is banned and only digital cash is accepted and banks have power outages...how are you going to pay for your primary needs(food/gas) in such case??

If cash is gone they can totally control and put a hold on your spendings. They can also fake power outages to create chaos.

If cash is banned you need to stack food and gas as emergency backup.

Floyd Mayweather is definitely not going to be happy. tongue
