I'd like to, and have a few red annodized components to get started with, but since it's NOS I'm not sure if I have the "stones" to bolt parts on it.

Re: 1984 Vector Mark 2
I'm off to a wedding reception tonight, but will be home most of tomorrow. I'm thinking of black and red, kinda like my Redline but more black, maybe Tuff II's. I wanna do a little red, I have a red pro-neck, red seat clamp, and maybe some pedals and other little red things like axle nuts and valve caps. I figure if I do it like the Redline but with black tuff II's it might look cool.

Put it together today and took a few quick shots. I'll get some better pictures tomorrow in the sun. I think it came out pretty nice, and it rides killer!

There was a pro rider on one of those at our local track in Gonzales, Louisiana...D.D.Leone. He rode for Vector on a frame like yours and was like a dragster out of the gate. We couldn't touch him, and he was no little guy. This guy made that THE hottest bike in the area. Everyone wanted one. Nicely done rebuild, and thanks for the memories!
