1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team Model

The bike I dreamed of owning BITD.  This is my first build and I'm so happy to have it completed.

I bought the f&f, bars, stem, and seat post newly painted by Lou from Fire Hydrant Decade (Jamie).  It won't be an exact restoration since the price to do that is more than I'm willing to spend.  It will however be a very nicely executed occasional rider.  The color scheme will end up being a mix of white, black, and polished components.  Still trying to decide whether I want to use my black or polished Mohawk hubs.
Update: Finished.
F/F=  1987 PFT
Bars=  Pro Performer
Grips=  A'me Rounds
Stem=  GT Mallet
Levers=  D/C Tech 77
Detangler=  Odyssey Gyro
Headset=  Tioga Beartrap 2
Brakes=  f: D/C Nippon r: D/C AD-990
Wheels=  GT with Mohawk hubs
Fork Standers=   GT flip down
Pegs=   GT Tube Rides f/r
Seat Post/ Clamp=  GT
Seat=   GT
Cranks=   Primo Powerbite
Pedals=  VP 747
Chain=  KMC

Not 100% era correct but I'm satisfied.

Very good job! I like the all-white PFTs. Good use of the parts on it as well.

Sick Bro: You Gotta Love That White! Some Idiot In San Diego, He Was Selling One Exactly Like Yours, For $80.00 Bucks On Craiglist, It Was Super Clean! I Called Him Around 11:30pm He Didn't Answer, So I Called Him Again In The Morning. He Finally Aswered, I Told Him That I Was Ready To Buy. He Said I'm Going To School But After School Around 4:00~4:30 I Will Be Home.   I Got Out Early From Work Just To Get The Deal. He Wouldn't Aswered The Phone, Finally He Answer Like Around 8:00pm; I Said What's Up Bro! He Said Sorry Some Guy From Los Angeles Said That He Was Willing To Pay $100 No Questions Ask. I Was So Mad,Angry,Pisst Off Damm I Could'nt Belive How Madd I Was, I Don't Think I've Ever Been That Mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team Model

Cool bike, i plan to get one of these after my 98' Performer is done.

I'm on the hunt for a 70's or 80's 24" cruiser. Brand and condition don't matter.
