Too short? One of my bikes has an 18.5” top tube and it feels great! I certainly would recommend testing it before condemning based on the TT length, I'd certainly let the daughter ride it first to see which is liked better.

Anyway, nice to see it saved from the dumpster!

I'm thinking the same thing because she's like 5' tall but its going to be ridden almost exclusively on trails so a longer TT may help. I have an eastern frame with a 20.5" tt from a ~2011 complete, so I'm going to give him both to paint and we'll go from there. The eastern also has a shorter rear end so that may help as well for learning how to get in the air. Maybe I'll get them both built up, maybe not, but this thread will be dedicated to whatever the build turns into.

So we're gonna have a problem because I think dumpsters are gross and the smell gags me...

Whatever, enjoy your GT.

Dude, you joined here less than four months ago. You come on every thread to spread hate and discontent and then wonder why NO ONE likes you. If you don't want to climb in a dumpster, THEN DON'T but to post on a thread for NO OTHER REASON than to be an immature hatefull asshole, is unfuckingbelievable. Unreal. roll Contribute to BMX or shutthefuckup. Goddamn this place needs a cleansing.

I like the guy and don’t feel he spreads hate or discontent. There are people are far worse with being angry and hate filled. Yes he does post a lot but I don’t see a lot of negativity within for the most part. That’s just me.

Brian is right, this "new guy" is nothing more then a troll ruining the forum. There are are a few others as well.
