2003 Redline Proline Team
2003 Redline Proline Team
Got this frame from LBS... never had a part on it! (SOLD)
There have been a few changes with this build. I am now going with all Redline parts.
The frame was hanging on the wall at my LBS. A REALLY good deal I might add. The frame has never had any part mounted on it at all... no internal scratches or rub marks anywhere. The bars came from a friend that used them for about a season then put them in a tub with a bunch of other parts. They were in pretty good shape.. I only had to touch them up just a little. Got the forks off of ebay for $5. They were in pretty bad shape, I peeled the decals and had them repainted back to their former glory. The decals are beautiful repops by beast44k. Got the stem from zx7rss1. It may take a while but this will definitely be one of my favorites.
Does anyone know anything about this frame? I can't find much info on it. Is it a rare frame or are there just none left? The only thing I see on this site that is close to this is the one Stu is pictured with. Any info would be appreciated.

I have this exact bike. I know literally nothing about it, grabbed it off a friend whose wife told him to stop riding for $100. It's fun and it's my re-entry to the BMX life after almost 20 years. I love it.

Re: 2003 Redline Proline Team
It was bargain priced back in the day, but a top of the line racing bike.
I'm surprised they go so cheap. I just picked up one for $50 complete!
I can't wait to get it cleaned up and posted. Mine's standard. I think the difference here with the 'team' is just the cranks are flights and the stem has extra machining on the side. Oh -and the color -white/red versus blue/black.
I love those Black forklifter bars stillridin --- Very nice upgrade on any bike.

Hey thanks tpaguy71! I really like the bars too but I have seen some with a straight crossbar... I am looking for those... I think they look a bit better... hard to find though.

Yeah, but they are actually smaller. Straight bar is about 25" to 26" wide and a bit shorter height too -technically an expert size.
Then they had short (height) cruiser bars -and then the pro size like yours. If you want a wide, pro size bar -you have it already.

Really? I thought the straight bar were the biggest ones.... hmmm.
I stand corrected,
The ones I have are like 27" wide, oh well

Re: 2003 Redline Proline Team
Nice bike, great work bringing it back. I've found one like it in parts and they are wanting quite a bit for it. I'm thinking about it versus another RL Flight that I know more about. I just can't find much about this Team model. Rare? Would you be able to let me know what you sold yours for complete so that I can determine if the one I'm looking at is too much. I'll pay what it's worth but don't want to pay more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much
My son (13) and daughter(15) now have BMX running through their veins and have brought me back on the track after 25 years. It's a thrill that we all share as a family.

Re: 2003 Redline Proline Team
I have this same frame came with euro bottom bracket and square taper. Only came with non drive side crank arm, which has an FSA on on the back but redline graphic.
I see reference to these cranks in the redline catalog.
