1979 Team Mongoose

Built bike around nos ACS stoker wheels. Never saw a set of Stoker mags growing up but when I saw an old ACS advertisement with a set on a PK Ripper the build was on...

-79 Team frame (many hours at buffing wheel)
-79 & 80 ACS Stoker mags (nos)-Schwinn diamond cranks & sprocket-Union rattrap pedals-Mongoose bars (stripped and painted at home)-79 Tange forks (stripped and painted at home)-Bianchi suede seat(was green, bleached then dyed blue)-Tange AW-27 headset -Home made medallions to fill reflector holes in wheels-AME grips-Ashtabula stem-KMC chain-Repop Snakebelly tires-Repop clamp and seat tube-Bike was built the way the way dad would have done it for me growing up. Clean build with a few nice parts and common but strong components making up the difference...

If I had a nickel for every time I've been cursed by a puppet I would have 2 nickels.  Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Great job.  Those wheels are very cool,  and i love your reflector medallions.

Thanks! I was going to cut the reflector tabs, but I'm glad I didn't...

@StovePipe thanks!
