Sickest RC Vehicles on the Planet Thread!

I want to see everyone’s coolest RC vehicles they have or have ever seen! Don’t matter if it’s cars, boats, trains, drones or trucks! Over the years I have seen a lot of different RC stuff and I figured this would be a fun one to start smile

Whoa whoa whoa, Miss Lippy! The part of the story I don't like is that the little boy gave up looking for Happy after an hour! He didn't put posters up or anything, he just sat on the porch like a goon and waited! That little boy's gotta think 'You got a pet. You got a responsibility!' If your dog is lost you don't look for an hour then call it quits! You get your ass out there and you find that fu*king dog!!! (Billy Madison)

Re: Sickest RC Vehicles on the Planet Thread!

I just made an aluminum body for my fifth scale truck, mostly scrap but I got tired of trashing the $250 body that came with the truck. used to be hardcore into large boats also, but BMX needs forced the sale of all those!!https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/270850/img_20210309_133519450_hdr6053a9d041.jpg

Re: Sickest RC Vehicles on the Planet Thread!

Wow all these are ridiculously nice! I will get my own on here after I get some good pictures. I wanna get a MRP Miss Budweiser from the 80’s and mod it to handle a light brushless setup. I love the boats!

I always loved this Shelby Cobra with a micro V8! They had it on an episode of Home Improvement.

Re: Sickest RC Vehicles on the Planet Thread!

Here’s my Tamiya Blackfoot. This is 6 years of hunting down and collecting aftermarket hop ups. I have fine tuned this truck into a serious machine... It may very well be the hardest Tamiya on the planet! I have yet to see anything that comes close honestly! It has everything! Even a mini sound system made up of a iPod nano and 2 3.5mm speakers. It has bass and is loud as hell! Thing gets attention wherever I show it smile it’s been changed so much that I keep having to take new pics of it. Drive train is made up of a 5700kv Castle sensored motor hooked to a Castle Mamba X waterproof esc. I run both a 2s and a 3s battery on it. It has GPS speedometer with full Bluetooth Castle B link for esc tuning. Fully waterproof with all non waterproof parts sealed in a black ballon with sealant in the stem. I literally could sit here for hours breaking down the tweaks and customizing that I have done to this thing. It’s my crown jewel of toys and would never sell it smile Hope you guys like it and if you want to know more just let me know lol

1/6th scale Miss Budweiser that has a real turbine engine and does 126mph! Guy put 15 grand into it! There’s videos online of it ripping through a huge pond that has a glass surface! It’s insane!

Re: Sickest RC Vehicles on the Planet Thread!

Nice stuff guys, love the big boats but a turbine is a bit much lol! Getting into 1/5 scale 40 pound beasts is not cheap, but I love the losi super rey's! Sold on my boats once I got back into the BMX addiction, and don't miss them to be honest.

Not a full 1/4 scale car but it’s a 1/4 scale V8 that’s supercharged that actually runs! How sick is that smile

(Billy Madison)

no not even close, 1/4s are huge, dirt wing cars and nascar,  we have a 1/4 scale track here.  running a litttle bigger then a weed eater motor. some guys servos were as big as those tires. nothin like a throttle getting stuck and launching over the side wall 20-30m ft

What would you do if you got your hands on a fully operational 1/4 scale Conley V8 engine? Most would mount it on a nice piece of stained wood and put it on their desk, and a few of those people would actually fire it up from time to time to show it off to their friends. Virginia native Kevin Holmlund has a Conley engine and has decided to go the extra mile by building a 1/4-scale replica of the Grave Digger monster truck around it. He didn’t go to  the hobby shop to buy the parts for this truck; instead he designed and made everything you see here. This is one awesome piece of machinery!

That’s not a scale engine used to hide an electric motor; this one actually runs and powers the 1/4-scale Grave Digger. This is the Conley Stinger 609 and this engine features dual carburetors, zoomie headers, spark plugs and electric start. The base engine will set you back $8,258 and the price goes up from there when you start to add the option parts.

Where do you get 1/4-scale monster truck tires? You make them yourself. Kevin spent countless hours making these awesome treads which start life as a standard garden tractor tire. Kevin shaved all the treads off and glued on rubber strips to make the terra type tread that you see here. Yep, that valve stem is for filling the tire with air.

The rear axle is completely custom made. A set of bevel gears and a spool get the rear tires moving while a hydraulic brake system slows them down. There’s a lot of weight in the tires and axle so limiting straps are used to keep that weight off the shocks when the suspension is fully extended.
