I've never been a Haro fan myself.

Re: Haros , who likes them?

I had a Freestyler BITD that was given to me by an older kid in my neighborhood after he seen me riding a Kent.
So I have loved Haro’s ever since. I loved that bike. Looking for one to replace it is what brought me here.
Same guy taught me how to completely break it down and take care of it.
Still my friend to this day.

That’s awesome!
I was about the same age. I then used that knowledge to help out anybody I could with their bikes. I kinda became the neighborhood bike mechanic and back then everyone had a bike. Great times. I miss the 80’s....big_smile

Re: Haros , who likes them?

I’ve had OS Master’s, Sports, FSX/FST’s. My 85 Sport was one of my favorite riding bikes. Loved the wide bars and the laid back stable geometry.

Re: Haros , who likes them?

I like bikes. I like some Haros and I dislike some. I like some things from each of old, mid and new. Not everything is my thing but there are many features from many companies and eras that I like and dislike. Sometimes I like stock, sometimes I like custom. I’ve never been one to typecast myself as a ______ guy that obsesses over a certain thing. Variety is the spice of life.

Re: Haros , who likes them?

Wilkerson was definitely my hero in the 80’s and I wanted either a Sport or Master in the worst way. Finally got my dream bike:) Never thought I would say this but I’m really getting into the early BMX and moving away from freestyle.  Enjoy reading about it and would love to have a Torker or Powerlite 24.

I get it...I’m just saying I don’t love or hate haro. Some of the stuff they do is great, some meh...and I’ve always thought about that about them. At least their retro line comes with modern characteristics so you’re getting what you pay for. Quality.

Re: Haros , who likes them?

My first bike (technically second) good bike was a Haro group 1. I only like the 96 and older though. I have 4 in my lineup
