1995 Auburn CR-20R

By favorite build thus far.  Found a NOS frame, and built this girl to race.

I always wanted this bike as a teenage racer in the early 90s. I finished this build as pictured in February 2021.
Everyone I show this frame to thinks it is a ‘96 but both serial numbers on the tri link and the frame are ‘95. . .I sought after the green chromoly tril-ink and scored a NOS frame!  All stickers, chrome and paint are original, still in a bag when I got it.  TT 19.5”
* GT sealed bearing superlace hubs
* TNT M80 hoops
* VG brake lever
* VG seatpost clamp
* GT mallet stem
* CR-20 pro bars
* 175 GT stamped profiles
* SMS SHANMASHI pedals
* McMaster Carr stainless seatpost
* Dia Compe 988 cantilever brakes
* custom machined spider and chainwheel assembly-
* Tioga Powerblock 20" by 1.75" race tires
* heart and soul on getting the drivetrain to be race-ready

Re: 1995 Auburn CR-20R

Very nice and great job with the build.  I've had some Auburns over the years (under my bikes) and really enjoyed them.  Such great welds on the rear aluminum link.  Is it maybe a later 95 serial number (Oct/Nov/Dec)  making it a 96 model by chance?  Either way, congrats on it.

Sick!

Nitrous is like a hot chick with an STD, you want to hit it, but you're afraid of the consequences. Spray and pray.
