Whoa whoa whoa, Miss Lippy! The part of the story I don't like is that the little boy gave up looking for Happy after an hour! He didn't put posters up or anything, he just sat on the porch like a goon and waited! That little boy's gotta think 'You got a pet. You got a responsibility!' If your dog is lost you don't look for an hour then call it quits! You get your ass out there and you find that fu*king dog!!! (Billy Madison)

Re: "AMERICAN"

Yeah but what I did with it is all American! And it’s nowhere near original… Honestly I’d say 75 percent of the truck is aftermarket or custom made machined parts… Tamiya don’t make stuff like this lol also it’s not really all about the truck as much as what it’s meant to model after. Bigfoot is about as American as Uncle Sam himself smile

Re: "AMERICAN"

Bigfoot 8 has made its return to its former glory from a full restoration this past weekend. If your a monster truck fan and remember this truck it purely destroyed the competition as it was the 1st CAD designed full tubular chassis of its kind by The Godfather of Monster Trucks Bob Chandler and driven by Andy Brass. To much to soon subsequently the truck was temporarily banned from TNT Motorsports events due it’s dominant nature in the early portion of the 1990 season so the rest of the competition could catch up with the technology which brought Bigfoot #4 in place of #8 to continue the rest of the season.

Picture circa 1990.

Subsequently #8 was brought back for the last race of the season with single digits points separated between #8 and “Equalizer” driven by David Morris. Leading up to the last 3 races of the season more controversy surrounded when “Equalizer” had premature kill switch issues stalling the truck before runs hurting the chances of locking up the TNT Motorsport Penda Championship to make it two in row just before Bigfoot #8 made its resurgence on the last race of the season to steal the championship. Long story short it went down to the last heat and race of the season between both trucks with persistent kill switch issues happening for “Equalizer” which to some fans screamed favoritism for the Bigfoot camp to win the championship with its new groundbreaking technology in which it did win the last race of the season and becoming champions of the 1990 season. So much so David Morris stepped away from driving duties in disgust the following season.

Exciting but controversial time for Monster Truck fans but truly unforgettable as Bigfoot #8 set the technical standard for how the industry is to this very day.

Video unveiling of #8 this past weekend.

Cold Fact: If you want everyone to LIKE what you say…You’re ONLY saying what you THINK they want to hear.

Cold fact: No matter what you do, Some people will think your great..But some will think you suck..The TRICK is..Roll with the people that understand you. That’s all that matters.

Cold Fact: Jealousy is REAL on social media. Your own friends will even scroll past your progress…

Cold Fact: Never let people that aren’t going anywhere in life take you with them.

Now that’s what I’m talking about! I remember Bigfoot 5 and going to monster truck rally’s at the Silverdome a million times as a kid into my teens. Andy Brass was an amazing driver and always handled that truck really well! Snake bite vs Bigfoot battles were epic! Meeting Dennis Anderson was a crazy experience too smile got my picture sitting in Gravediggers wheel!
