1994 Auburn CR-20RX

Midschool/Newschool Mashup

I always thought these were rad growing up with the 2 piece design, and now I finally own one!

Purchased the frame/fork/stem from a local guy. It was in rough shape. He sandblasted it himself so the frame was raw metal. The rear end needed some love and so did the forks.
Had the frame powder coated candy purple, the rear end and stem polished out and the forks re chromed. Then it was just collecting parts from there and I finally put it all together. I wanted to throw a little bit of new school tech in with the mid school parts and this is what I came up with. And I must say this is probably my favorite build so far!
Leave some feedback and thanks for looking!

Love the color, and that's a smooth blend of mid and new school technology.  First I've seen with a disc brake.  cool

Took a while but I got one!

I always thought these were rad growing up with the 2 piece design, and now I finally own one!

Purchased the frame/fork/stem from a local guy I met on offerup. It was in rough shape. He sandblasted it himself so the frame was raw metal. The rear end needed some love and so did the forks.

The odi grips I bought didn’t fit the bars, that’s why there’s no grips in the photos.

Trying to find a set of green era correct cantilever brakes is proving beyond difficult for my CR20R.
