New Race Inc. bringing back the Cook Bros. brand?

Saw this tonight on the Race Inc. website; looks like Box Components has licensed rights to the Cook Bros. Racing brand.

I read through all their updates, they are working on 70+ new items... NS race, retro.

That stem is Fugly!
Looks like 2020 corvette with a 1979 buick front end on it... lol
Retro/Oldschool/Repop should have been the route for that stem imo.

They are releasing some new forks too. There's another thread on it.

Re: New Race Inc. bringing back the Cook Bros. brand?

Not straight repop or retro. Maybe Disney what things will look like in 2020. Will take some getting used to I guess.

Re: New Race Inc. bringing back the Cook Bros. brand?

Would I be correct in assuming the machined parts are all connected these days?  (Bullseye / Bassett / USA Machine Works / Technique / Cooks / Etc) all coming from the same shop?  Those hubs look cool, and not that there would be anything wrong with it, but they strike me as made by the same maker as Bullseye/Bassett....  I like that they are putting their own flare on it.

They look like cassette hubs, so that would definitely set them apart from some of the other retro stuff.

No idea, just taking a guess. With the popularity of cruisers,it would be silly not to do them.

Re: New Race Inc. bringing back the Cook Bros. brand?

This 29” looks pretty dope! cool

Now they need to follow with 26”, 24” and 20”. I’m in for a 26” frame, bottoma fork, stem and seat clamp. I think the parts look great and appear very well made/machined.
