Re: The Pull
They will be talking about the Perron Pull till the end of the BMXMuseum.
Hutch Fun Facts: All main line Hutch's with digits only S/N (no letters or baseballs) on the rear drop outs were US made and had their dropouts stamped between late '83 and '86. Obviously the frame manufacture would occur slightly after that, even if they just threw 'em in a bucket randomly. There is an obvious date code in that the first 2 digits seem to be the month and the 3rd digit is pretty obviously the last digit of the year running from '83-'86.

Re: The Pull
Whats the plan with regards to selling them? are you splitting for the parts or selling complete survivors?
I ask as there look to be plenty of survivor parts there and it would be a shame for some of that stuff to end up in landfill.
I spent 2 years looking for bald freestyle tyres like i had bitd so please dont throw anything
Got a set of Knight bike co sith bars? Then shoot me a price please

Re: The Pull
Perron that is nothing short of amazing. I volunteer at a bike NPO now as well, we take in donations then we have 6 week classes where kids from the area (not the best area) come in and learn basic bike repairs and knowledge. As long as they stay the course and get their time in, they are rewarded at the end of the class with the bicycle they've been working on.
There are also three more levels of it too. For the final exam on the highest level, they are given a box of parts and a frame. From there they have to assemble an entire bike and true the wheels in a given amount of time.
I've always had a passion for bikes and a want to give back. This has become my outlet for both. We both enjoy 90s mountain bikes and I help get them hip to this stuff and what it will fetch them on eBay. It is an NPO so they have to find a way to keep the lights on. Between the shop up front and the eBay biz, this gets it done.
On a personal note, if you want to come down some time, check the place out, and talk to everyone I'd love to have you. You can gain a lot of knowledge.
Kudos to you for not gobbling that stuff up... my hands were shaking just looking at some of those bikes. Makes me feel like a bike junkie lol
