1996 GT Pro Series Team XLE

Recreating my childhood race bike

This is the bike that started it all, brought me back and brought me to this forum. I had a 95 that got stolen from me when I was a kid, and I’ve always wanted to have another one. So one day I’m online and I think “hey I should look for a bike” and I found a donor in great shape for a decent price so I bought it. The bike was complete and ready to ride, but not how I wanted it. I wanted it how it was when it got stolen. So that lead me here. The bike has been restored to as close as possible with parts I bought from the amazing members here. Thank y’all for everything and hope you enjoy!

I agree 100%. The original one I had took a beating and never gave me any issues. This one just gets ridden around the block .

Way nice bike,I’m a little old school on any of these canti brake bikes.I was done racing in 94, but still it’s an American Gary Turner, whom I was sponsored by for three years!
Like it bro. Can’t wait to see the Auby...

I have no respect for the clown that separates frames from forks!!
Unless you broke them, don’t separate,so lame... And if we do business, and it goes well. Leave feedback, I will do the same...
