Re: Who's into vintage road bikes?

My most recent grail score from the local flea market. This is the second I’ve snagged. I’ve done my road bike collecting and will be looking to sell/trade this eventually.

Re: Who's into vintage road bikes?

Here my Colnago Victory - late 80's vintage I'm guessing.  Bought as a F/F and added parts from my old Panasonic. Love it and fits me perfect.  Don't ride much on the road anymore though.

Re: Who's into vintage road bikes?

Bought this off a friend yesterday. It's a custom titanium 1991 Litespeed time trial bike with weird 650c wheels and has horizontal dropouts. So I'm thinking making it a fast as heck fixie

Re: Who's into vintage road bikes?

I was going to say the geometry on that one's a little funny.  Then I realized it's a track bike.

Sweet ride!

yikes um ya I could never do that. . that's like yanking the V twin out a sports car. to throw in a electric motor or worst  gutting and tuning a Lamborghini in to a soap box derby car. just wrong.

If I had a nickel for every time I've been cursed by a puppet I would have 2 nickels.  Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Nice Paramount. The purple BMX pedals are an interesting touch...

Thanks. Those pedals actually aren't on there anymore. I needed them for an 08 Fuse 4 i'm working on so I put the 105 clipless pedals back on it.

Re: Who's into vintage road bikes?

This thing was fun while I had it. It went through some phases and ended up with riser bars on it when I took it apart. One of my coworkers had given me the frameset back when I work with him at the shop. It was his first race bike back in the day. He got a job working for Trek a while back and had asked me about it selling it back to him a few times before. When I heard he was working for Trek I figured it was only right to give it back to him. Still have all the parts I took off waiting for a new build.
