Re: Patterson Racing

Maybe not Tange but they’re almost the same forks as the Mach 1’s of the same time period

Re: Patterson Racing

That frame is a little bit different to normal PR200s. If you take a look and the headtube you will notice there is no flanges on it. Also the chainstay is different shape where it meets the bottom bracket, it flares out more. I have way too much spare time on my hands, we are in stage 4 lock down here in Victoria... LOL

Re: Patterson Racing

Is that one of those 83 Pattersons that was made before GT took over? There was another SoCal company that made frames for a lot of people that made some Pattersons... Wasn't it Trackmaster??

Re: Patterson Racing

You're right but if you look at that frame there is not one similar to it.

Re: Patterson Racing

Chainstay execution for a PR200 in red.  You can see the difference.

Re: Patterson Racing

If it's not too late, how about getting some decent photos of the complete bike taken before it's cleaned up, just for posterity. Then submit the before and after photos on here. cool

Re: Patterson Racing

I remember way back racing Vallejo and watching these guys with Anderson's-- when Patterson's rode for Speedo. That PR is sick.

Re: Patterson Racing

I'm wondering about that frame. The dropouts look more like DYNO VFR dropouts than they do GT (which is what PR frames used).

Can any PATTERSON experts tell me who's plate this was? Maybe a year? I got it about 20 yrs. Ago from a South Florida bike shop. The UNI plate was from a National Race somewhere here in Florida ? Richie /Ronnie / Brian /Brent ??

Maybe Ritchie Anderson when he was an amateur?

Re: Patterson Racing

The first plate with #3 has a "HANK & FRANK" decal on it. As far as I know, they are a shop in the SF Bay Area, CA. Can someone confirm this?

The battery is discharging, the oil temperature is very high, the oil pressure is very low, water temperature is off the chart and I am running out of petrol...but the clock is correct.
