That's a bummer. Must have been when google was coming down on the museum for sexy avatars and pics/gifs.

Had us all on our toes not knowing what is cool or not.

Re: Best avatars on the museum

I think mine is the best since the motorcyclist on the left (#20) is my uncle Moe racing a road race in Dayton beach in 1959. The caption under the article goes on say they run neck -‘n - neck in their struggle for first place in Wednesday’s Road race an that My uncle was the eventual winner. This was a pretty sweet find for me one day while googling my last name.

Thanks. I didn’t know which rider he was until I was looking thru some of my
Dads pics. The back of one said “all packed for Dayton” https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/220163/0dab2c8d-d3d3-4f32-90a9-ea257e9e25f25f14202022.jpeg

Re: Best avatars on the museum

Genuinely curious about the role google ads plays when it comes to avatars. Is it as basic as a business saying, "Don't associate my ad w/ 'x' and if avatar = 'x' then the ad won't be displayed?" Or, do the avatars influence how this site is categorized by google?

Thanks. I’m really proud to share in his bloodline. Here is another great Uncle Moe avatar that I can use from that very same Daytona event but at the end of the week. He won several of the four events he competed in this week. Caption under this was was “winning driver”. It’s so funny to hear the term driver in motorcycle racing. Shows you the times.

I remember you stating this in another thread, very cool. Any idea what years are the pics from.
