1983 SE Racing Quadangle

First restoration. Reynolds Quad.

I have had many different bikes BITD. Not all at once. All of us kids would trade, sell and buy parts from each other. I started with a Mongoose Motomag that I bought from the LBS with my own money. It took me two years to save up the $259 to buy it. The first frame and fork I traded for was a royal blue looptail Quad. This bike is a combination of all of my favorite parts from BITD. I never knew what I had. I had to sell this bike in 2007. times were tough and I needed Xmas money. I think I got $1500 complete. It was worth it to see my sons face on Xmas morning when he received his brand new 2Hip 18". I think I was more excited then him.
