1982 Vitus 979
1982 Vitus 979
Rare early 979 Vitus
This came to me in a poor state with the top of the seatmast missing
I grafted in a new piece of aluminium and opted for a grub screw post clamp (as on later models) to stop the grafted piece snapping again. The forks are custom made Vitus road forks, cut down with the original dropouts rebonded. Original forks are rare as hens teeth so this was the next best thing in my opinion. original finish with a complimentary survivor parts list.
Got a set of Knight bike co sith bars? Then shoot me a price please

Yeah, great job mate! Look forward to seeing the "delta" brake set up as and when.
Check out my 1983 VDC-built Trident, 1983 Kuwi Laserlite, 2010 GT Ultrabox 2, 2011 Crupi race rig and prototype Quamen, plus the all things Crupi & old school scene in Japan threads. Always interested in buying used, mid-school race plates and pads - UGP, Knucklebone, Lizard Skins, Odyssey and Pryme to name but a few!!
