Re: BMXMUSEUM Home Page Requirement Pictures

Hello,
ok, the home page picture is random from the bikes that have the "featured bike" feature selected.
We reserve this for the very best bikes submitted.

I did find a couple ways to auto refresh browsers, which kinda makes it into a screen saver..

Ok, was thinking about a fun way to have a screeen saver, and found this chrome extension.
its free, and literally takes seconds to install and set up..then you can just sit and look at bikes!!!

Thanks. I did update the picture on the 2004 Redline, is it within spec?

I seen that the main pic with the snow, it was to dark...I just change it to a different pic...

Your Powerlite is actually a pretty good indoor pic...retake it with valve stem caps wink

Would love to find my old Dirt Bike.  It was stolen in Pompano Beach, Florida in about 1996.  It's a '92 with the block graphics on a Green frame.  Pitchforks, Slam bars, King Headset, GT (DK-style) stem and GT/Profile cranks.  Superlace hubs.  Would really love to put this back in my collection.

Anytime...

I understand, I used to live in SoCal. I understand. I’m in NorCal now, and it’s still very sunny. Overcast is the best, but also try early morning and evening. For me, it’s mainly about the location, and when I can get there. Of course winter in California obviously has the most overcast or indirect light days.

Re: BMXMUSEUM Home Page Requirement Pictures

I usually take a screen shot on my phone when one of my bikes pops up on the home page...silly, but it always makes me smile.

I started a thread about it a while ago.

Re: BMXMUSEUM Home Page Requirement Pictures

Seems to me, that any bike submitted and "Approved" should be accepted to be "Featured" for homepage appearances. If a bike doesn't make the grade, then it shouldn't be approved.

Re: BMXMUSEUM Home Page Requirement Pictures

“Pinche Gato“lol

No mames!

And just think for the entire time I’ve been a member I thought the bikes on the home page were random and it meant one of my bikes might pop up.

I think it should be on a system that is based on how many faves you have. So x amount gets shown x number of times per month or year. Ya’ll work that out. My opinion is it’s based on when people “favorite your bike”.

But I’ve not had any scotch yet so maybe I’m not making sense.

Still wish there was a museum app. As much I'm on here it would be nice to open my phone and just tap an icon instead of having to open Internet and wait for it to load.
