1977 Moxie “ The Gusty One “

My Dad bought me this bike in 1977 when I was 14.. Time passed and the bike was forgotten.. After our kids moved away, I found what was left of it under one of my son’s bed...  Restoration compleed...  Definitely brings back great memories...http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/267219/ea396d82-2004-4be0-aa2c-6253c106b86d5e25e16667.jpeg

Re: 1977 Moxie “ The Gusty One “

Nice bike. My first BMX in New Zealand was a Morrison 'Gutsy One'.
Local cycle company must have ripped off the term and used it as the model name.
Thing was real heavy! There are a couple her on the museum, but I don't think there's any with the decals - used a similar lowercase font.

Re: 1977 Moxie “ The Gusty One “

It's amazing to see it restored, and the ride of the OG is unique/one of a kind with that Monoshock! Unlike solid chassis bikes it has a cushion/comfort type of ride! And those MX-60's set it off! Haha love it!
