2020 WeThePeople Audio

Dream ride

Sold a Fit 22 and ordered this. I'm a big WTP fan and had to have their 22.

Re: 2020 WeThePeople Audio

Whats your overall take on the Audio in terms of geometry and components?

I have been looking for a 24" DJ  but they don't seem to exist anymore.  The 24" BMX offerings seem mostly low end, or the geo is too funky.  So now I am looking into 22's.

Re: 2020 WeThePeople Audio

It feels amazing.  I had a Fit 22 before this and it felt good too. Just a bit longer than the Audio.  The components are pretty nice.  I have the same hubs on my 20" bike and they're Salt but they're nice and smooth.  The wheels feel really good.  I have a 2016 WTP Atlas that has the same cranks and I've never had an issue.  It's a really nice bike.  The only thing I changed was the brake pads.  I hate clear brake pads. The only other thing I want to change is the axle nuts are 19mm in the back and 15 up front.  I want to fet 17 mm nuts for less hassle and tools to carry.

Re: 2020 WeThePeople Audio

Is the audio the same size as the atlas? Atlas has slightly shorter tt, bigger wheels, more relaxed seat tube.  Will you post a photo of the two together? I like my audio, but wonder if I should have gotten the atlas

Re: 2020 WeThePeople Audio

The Audio is a bit smaller.  Shorter TT and CS.  I'm at work but I'll post a pic when I get chance in the next couple of days.  I prefer the Audio.  The Atlas is awesome but 24s are kind of their own thing.  They don't really feel like a BMX.  Almost like a small MTB.

Re: 2020 WeThePeople Audio

Really cool, thank you. I think I’d want an atlas in addition to not in place of my audio. Do you jump the atlas? The audio feels perfect for me but I look like shrek on a kids bike

Re: 2020 WeThePeople Audio

I tried stuff on the Atlas for a bit.  It's fun to bomb around on. A bit big for the tight skateparks here.

Re: 2020 WeThePeople Audio

what size is the setpost? would a 28.6 mm seatpost fit this bike?  i ordered this bike and want to have a steel seatpost compared to the alloy one.
