1986 Torker 280X

Another unmolested survivor!

Rare 1986 Torker 280x race bike
The guy who sold it to me said his neighbor's kid used to come from out of town and spend a few weeks home with his dad in the mid to late 80s. Him and the kid would ride their brand new bikes hard around their neighborhood every Summer before returning back home with his mom. The kid went on to college leaving his bike behind in the old man's garage. It was recently purchased by him and sold to me shortly after. The kid kept it all original. One tire appears to be fatter than the other but he couldn't remember if it had been swapped out by his old pal back in the days. He did say he put in a new rear inner tube and greased up the chain a bit before I got it. I have not even had a chance to clean it yet. It is a true survivor!
Hope you guys like it! ????
