Re: NBA

Enjoy it until free agency begins. Then it's all over for Toronto. I didn't want to see Kawhi win it. I didn't like how he left the Spurs, and I'm not a Spurs fan. If he leaves Toronto it will leave just as bad a taste in my mouth. If he stays it will do a little in my mind to reversing the negativity I feel towards him.

Re: NBA

Leonard might just end up staying in Toronto. He is the cornerstone and they just won it all. Why would he want to leave a team that just won it. They will most likely pay him and he can actually claim the team as his team, they can continue to build the team around him and he might just get some input on who they sign. cool

I have a feeling Kawhi will leave.

Isn't Durant coming up on free agency? Load management with Durant and his achilles if Kawhi bails.

Durant will miss most of next season so he’d be a 2020-21 project at best and depending on the outcome of his recovery. Too much to risk.

If it’s money he’s looking for Toronto has the upper hand there.

Why, San Diego is his hometown, he was either going to LAC or staying in Toronto, if he signed with the LAL you might have a case...

Re: NBA

I actually kinda respect that he turned down more money from Toronto to go home to la... But as a guy who has been waiting 25 years for The North to get a title, I am pretty depressed. seems like it'll be a few years, or decades, before Toronto competes seriously again. Plus, Danny Green split...

I give the respect back now lol
I didnt know he turned down more money to play at home. I didnt know the whole story and just figured it had to be for a million more than 35 mil or whatever he signed for.

You're right about the Lakers though
They are like the Yankees

Re: NBA

'nuff said lol

Another organization which will never get a $ of my money

I thought the NFL was bad with this recent craziness past years, shooting themselves in the foot (empty stadium pictures on the 'Net weekly)

But, NBA says "Hold my Beer"
