I remember when those first came out. My friends and I used to go to our bike shop and drool all over the couple they had. It’s still drool worthy.

Unbelievable finish on that thing!  It's incredible.

Early '85 Haro Masters are my thing!
Always selling / buying 1985-specific Haro Master Items (especially early serial numbers)
Collector of Redline 401's and Sugino 400's parts, Diamond Back Turbo cranks and BB's too!

Re: 1983 Diamond Back Harry Leary Turbo

That is a fine example. Very well done !

Let's face it, after a long day, sometimes all you want to do is flop down on the couch, flip on the TV, and chow down on an easy-to-eat dinner.

Re: 1983 Diamond Back Harry Leary Turbo

I’m old/fat/ugly enough to remember these BITD, this is a superb build, bravo to you. The HLT was mythical when it came out, but I never actually saw one in the flesh so to speak, such a shame.
Quite a few years ago I started looking at old school bikes, the NOS f&f sets were £100ish, and that was Haro Freestylers etc. My girlfriend at the time scoffed at my interest, so I didn’t follow up on them, they couldn’t give bikes like them away I could have filled my boots.
I did get a couple of bikes, payed very little for them, this Diamondback bike would have been up at the top of my wanted list along with a Quadangle. Thanks for showing and if you ever want to sell it at 2005 prices I’m your man 👍
