1982 Kuwahara KZ-1
1982 Kuwahara KZ-1
Not your typical KZ Catalog build. With all do respect. Of course!
Picked this up as a frame only with the OG blue barley visible. Had it powdered cosmic white by QuickStripNj, the pics do it no justice they did a great job keeping those amazing Koizumi welds visible. It was an honor to build such important Piece of BMX history(ET chase scene). Even tho I added a different twist, I did my best in keeping it era correct. The Geometry on these are amazing, just wish the top tubes were longer!!
For all the Homies that never got a chance to hook up their ride ....

I had one of these in the late 80s. I i agree about the top tubes needing to be longer, but i am 6 foot tall. I put mine in the air continuously. It can take punishment ( i had 3 piece maxi-cross on mine). Have no clue what happened to it.
