Haro mid-school prototype

A friend of mine that i grew up with and raced with in the 90's dug out his prototype haro. Pretty interesting 24" frame and i haven't ever seen another one. He had been sponsored by haro at that time and they would send him a little of everything. They sent this frame in a rush to try out and get some feedback. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/109858/20190605_2029505d54b026b1.jpg

Re: Haro mid-school prototype

It's definitely a cool frame. Any serial numbers on it or stampings? Do you know what year it was made? From the decal looks like a 2000.  Aluminum head badge most likely usa made cool

No they never put a serial number but, i think he said 99ish. Definitely american made and before this 24" they had always sent him haro monocoque frames.

Re: Haro mid-school prototype

I believe 2000 was the first year for that aluminum head badge wink such a cool frame looks like a Group1.

Re: Haro mid-school prototype

Who was your friend?

Please.....no Tuff Wheels on full on race bikes...original graphite’s only and pre 81
Let me guess you were factory sponsored in
the 80’s...
Please no colored tires on race bikes...
So how many years were you a Pro....
You knew a guy that had a Mongoose that weighed 12 pounds

Re: Haro mid-school prototype

the rear of this looks the same as the Mosh's from the late 90's. First gen Haro monocoque's used the same rear end's as the Kastan's and Kastan built or designed the early aluminium Mosh's big_smile
