they just pale in comparison to the rest of the bike. now say custom made 4" long seat clamp size square / hexagon Dyno looking pegs would rock.

Dude, you have glowing plastic covers on your spokes, and not even cut long enough - Is this really an opinions/critique thread?

just stating my opinion on a build. if some one made pegs like the 20" version GT/ Dyno made but sized for a 29 " tall cruiser that to me would be going the extra mile.big_smile on a build. but slabbing 20" BMX 80's style pegs on a 29" freestyle build. to me is like taking a full size truck jacking it up as high as a Big foot style monster truck. yet leaving the factory stock rims and tires. lol

its all about the details .as for my build I cut the neon yellow spoke covers in half. so wheels have neon yellow and black
colored spokes . just like my Haro neon yellow and black  color Haro frame .

but I still dig you GT boid move building a 29" freestyle bike way cool!

Let's not get out of hand guys.  We all have opinions on each others builds positive/negative, but let's keep it above the belt please on the progress thread and let the voting do the talking.

Re: THE 5TH ANNUAL BMXMUSEUM SPRING BUILD OFF RULES AND PROGRESS!!!!!!!

^ It's a 2019 GT Heritage Cruiser bike, specifically designed to call back on 1986. Now this bike barely looks like the original beach cruiser from the box. All freestyle details I added. The pegs are appropriate, and just the detail I was looking for. You don't have to worry, as it poses no threat in this contest - I assure you it will place last. I just wanted to participate, as I'm new here and the timing was right.

You kinda make me wish I didn't bother.

Bro don’t let criticism let you down. Everyone one of us builds their bikes in their own unique ways. Even those that put front brakes on race bikes. tongue I kid but seriously your build is awesome and you should be proud of it! Some would say the pegs on mine are overkill but to me it’s perfect. Love who you are and don’t regret doing build-off! We love ya brother!
