1982 Redline MX-II

1982 Redline MX-II project. Purchased frame set from member tyty1.  Japan built early RB code
Debating on leaving it as is or having it powder coated and new decals.  Either way will be cool.
Frame Set: RB code Japan built MX-II frame and forks. Original paint and decals with nice patina and extra decals!
Handlebars: Stamped Proline v-bars cut slightly
Stem: Suntour power stem
Cranks:  Sugino 165mm 1 piece cranks 28t
Pedals: MKS 
Grips: A'me triangle
Post: old school fluted 22.6 post
Seat: Kashimax seat.
Seat Clamp: DC MX 2 piece repop
Wheel set: Skyways Tuf wheels
Headset: Tioga Bear trap II
Spider: Sugino
Chainwheel: Sugino 44t
Brakes: Dia compe MX1000 rear and tech 3 lever from 80's
Tires: Cheng Shin 1.75

Leave it as is and go for era correct parts as they become available at reasonable prices.

I agree extra decals applied are priceless!!


I can't believe the way people mistreat bikes. It also amazes me how many people don't have any bikes and never ride them - poor miserable souls.
