I'm likely getting one of these for my 8 year old son to continue to get him excited about biking. Told him this is what the cool bikes looked like when I was his age.

Re: Stranger Things Edition Mongoose
always thought it would be cool to convert a mongoose moto mag to a street trails thrasher BMX. but did not have the hart to trash a os Mongoose frame. this could be a way to do that. same look but brand new. so no guilt about trashing it. put on a 990 AD brake adapter plate. real new school skyway mags , 90's knee saver type bars and go have some fun.
lots of cool ways to mod it and not feel guilty buy 2 hack it up make a tandem BMX

The wife and I are big Stranger Things fans. Sci-fi zeries set in the 80s.. what's not to love. Seen this on Instagram today and was curious if anyone had brought it up on the forum yet. I might have to delay 1 of my projects a order 1

Re: Stranger Things Edition Mongoose
There's a guy on the FB group right now bragging (with pictures) how he already scored two of these from a Target store. I called him out on it, on the thread. Damn flippers, its pathetic. Not to mention who did he bribe since they are not supposed to be for sale until June 30th? I just get so sick of it, can't even find a freakin Hot Wheel my 8 year old son and I want to try on our HW drag track because some mouth breathers descend on every store and pile carts high for eBay flipping. Christ, get a better job or something.
