FIT TRIPPER 26" vs. SE BIKES

As mentioned on Cruiser Revolution, the new FIT TRIPPER 26" looks (and sounds) a lot like an SE bike.  And no question Moeller likes to mess with people.

What do y'all think?

Re: FIT TRIPPER 26" vs. SE BIKES

Just shows SE is dominating the market. Obviously Fit feels they need to copy them to try to break into it.

Wouldn't fit be about the same quality as the SE stuff as they are both made overseas?

Nope.Fits are made in Taiwan and SE is made in China.I'm pretty sure Moeller would have a much higher standard of quality vs SE overall.

my guess that's so it don't hit on dirt jumps. it's meant to be thrashed on. not just a pub crawler bike.

Micro gearing is the best thing ever created for bmx.

Depends...for a cruiser your just running longer distances on a regular basis with I would disagree. Chains and particularly the rear cogs wear out so much faster.

...for purpose built street, park, flatland and similar, yep I agree.

road bikes and mountain bikes are better for running longer distances on a regular basis . but for every other type of riding 20" bmx  works best.wink

Ok, but keeping the convo to bmx was more the gist...otherwise we could trump the road bike / mtb with a harley and an enduro respectively and keep going on from there lol
