2008 SE Racing Quadangle

My first BMX bike in 20+ years.  Have always loved the SE Racing bikes, and the Quadangle has been a favorite since childhood.

My first build.  08 Limited Edition Retro Quadangle frame.  Number 236 out of 250 for US Market in 2008.  Sun Super Stock wheels, Fly Mike Day Signature bars, 08 Landing Gear forks, Redline Flight 180 3 piece cranks, Profile 44T Chain ring.  Oddessy Back Trail pedals, skinwall Cheng Shin tires, Jim's Beam 41 Thermal seat post, SE Racing Black Racing Seat (Velo), SE Racing Stem, SE Long Wing Logo Grips. Tektro brakes.  Redline chain tensioners (not shown).

Re: 2008 SE Racing Quadangle

thanks modfather!  It's a 25.4mm.  I really wanted a 41 thermal in chrome but couldn't find one or I would have had a chrome post and black seat clamp.  Be careful with the paint on the rear dropouts....it is fragile and the back end is tight and you have to use pressure to pull the drop outs apart when installing a wheel.

Would love to come see Ireland one day (being Irish myself)...closest I have been is London England and Reading with my work.

Good luck with your build!  let me know when you post it up.

Mike

Re: 2008 SE Racing Quadangle

Cheers for letting me know about the seat post size dude much appreciated! I do hear that the paint job on these frames are fragile and not up to scratch which is no use grrrr! but my plan was to build a daily rider to bang about on so am hoping the frame itself its solid and strong. all your information is really appreciated eg about the drop out etc. i will give you a shout once my build is done and funny enough i love your build am hoping mine would be similar to yours if you dont mind cool

PS i would love to live in america one day. i use to go to a boarding school in england near reading! nice one
