1985 Profile Racing Champ Pro
1985 Profile Racing Champ Pro
Nice bike, basically the way I found it.
After regretting the sale of my mongoose I was fortunate enough to run into this bike. It looks to me to be set up more for free style. Obviously the frame is a profile, forks(?), uni seat, dk seat post clamp, tuff wheel II graphite wheels, Hutch H neck, handle bars(?), AME grips(new), Dia- Compe MX brakes, white skinwall tires(originally had white haro tires), cranks(?), tuf neck sprocket, MKS Grafight pedals. Any help identifying the forks and handle bars would be greatly appreciated. Please comment on the bike, I'd really like to know what everyone thinks, as I'm new to this.

Re: 1985 Profile Racing Champ Pro
WOW. a profile built up as a Freestyler!!!!
What could be cooler.
BTW, those look like 85 Haro FST Bars, (Made by Anlun) also used on some Kuwahara Magicians.

Re: 1985 Profile Racing Champ Pro
Its a jaunty little ride. I love profiles. Someday someday.
The battery is discharging, the oil temperature is very high, the oil pressure is very low, water temperature is off the chart and I am running out of petrol...but the clock is correct.

I think the bike looks pretty cool as a freestyler to, and I think it's an original build from the mid 80's as all the components see to date it that way. While not a show bike it sure seems to be a true survivor.
I think you're correct about the bars, after looking at a lot of different styles that was my thoughts as well.
Thanks for the comments!

Re: 1985 Profile Racing Champ Pro
I'm not a Profile guy but totally dig the Freestyle theme.
I agree the bars look Haro-ish and guestimating 185 cranks?
Cool find and GREAT looking bike!
My stash. Ride on.

Re: 1985 Profile Racing Champ Pro
I thought I would add a few pictures from the day I got the bike. After spending more time on the site I'm realizing what a great find I got. Notice the original Haro tires and the rear brake postition.

Re: 1985 Profile Racing Champ Pro
Thanks, I've really grown to like this bike. I worry if I were to let it go it would just get parted out and personally I think it would be a shame, so for now it's a keeper:)

Great looking profile! I am a huge fan of Skyway Graphites! I have the same Anlun bars as they came on my 87' Haro Master. Love the bike!
Looking for:
1 original Hutch Aerospeed Crank dustcap
