Sweet pick up last night!

My friend hooked me up with some parts last night! The forks are going on my trek. I need to find axles for the rims. They don’t look like your normal axle size. This is what I am putting the forks on.http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/82308/0147fe74-e903-40d5-8469-13175cd346a55ce945d4b5.jpeg

Re: Sweet pick up last night!

That hub won’t work on that fork, it’s a thru-axle hub.  Also, those are disc brake only rims and your bike has rim brakes. I wouldn’t put that fork or those wheels on that bike.

Re: Sweet pick up last night!

As Todd said, that won't work.  Wheels look like they are the 20mm through axle type while the fork uses the standard size with quick release skewers.  And as he pointed out, they're for disc brakes.

Too bad the Rockshox Judy SL that came on that frame is gone, it's a good fork (I still own the same Y-33 I bought new).

After over 5 years here, I finally have some bikes listed!

Azonic made adapters for the Outlaw hubs to convert them to all sorts of other sizes like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-ONeal-MX-A … 3180946187

Re: Sweet pick up last night!

Azonic adaptors to QR skewer will have you skipping around town.  That RST does NOT deserve to go on the Trek Y frame.  It is not worthy.  But hey it's not my bike.

Re: Sweet pick up last night!

I wish I had the original fork. But this yellow fork is better than the junk I have on there now. When I find a better fork I will replace this one.
